Our Story
Welcome to Dara, where we help businesses gain a digital footprint and grow through our expertise in brand design, web design, and social media marketing.
We started out firmly rooted in the community of a medium-sized town in South Africa, called Potchefstroom, but we recently moved to George in the Western Cape and hope to root ourselves in our new community. This is the place where we live and love, but we aim to help businesses anywhere to connect with their customers by visually communicating their message by means of creative digital designs.
Trees, that play an important role in this community, symbolises inner strength, growth, reliability, connection, and collaboration.
Our Agency name, Dara, comes from the Gaelic word “doire” which means “Oak Tree”. The Celtic Dara tree knot that is the inspiration for our logo emblem represents the magnificent root system that robustly holds up the magnificent body of an ancient oak tree.
Like a giant Oak, we are rooted in our community, focused on continuous growth, helping businesses get seen and heard, extending their branches to reach their audience through digital design and marketing
